Type A:
These bags, made of non-conductive fabric, do not require precautions against electrostatic charge. It should not be used in explosive gas and dust environments.
Type B:
Big Bags are made of fabrics with a resistance voltage not exceeding 6 kV and are made of non-conductive materials. The bag surface must be free of substances such as water and oil to prevent spark formation and there must be no clips or tools in contact with the bag surface.
Type C:
Type C bags are produced from fabrics that are not conductive but have conductive fibers at certain intervals. These conductive fibers must be in contact with each other with a resistance of less than 10 to the 7 ohms and must be grounded during the filling/discharging phase. Since these bags allow the flammable gases created by the transported material during filling and discharging to be discharged by grounding the static energy that may occur at the same stage due to the friction of the bag and the material, it is prevented from igniting with sparks that may occur.
It can be produced from 200 kilos to 2,000 kilos and with a safety factor of 5:1 or 6:1.
Conductivity feature can be added to standard or Q Big Bags.
Area of Use:
Conductive Big Bags should be used when filling and discharging is required in explosive substances or environments.
